Our story began with a simple encounter in 2016 at the same university. At the time, Amel was a freshman, while Randy was a senior who served as one of the orientation committee members.
What started as a simple greeting and a brief introduction gradually became the first chapter of a beautiful journey—one that has led us to where we are today. ✨
Engagement - 2016
Long story short, our meeting in 2016 marked the beginning of a journey that would last for years. After more than nine years together, we knew it was time to take the next step.
Surrounded by his family, Randy officially asked for Amel’s hand in marriage. With grateful hearts, Amel’s family warmly accepted the proposal.
From that beautiful moment on, we chose a date to begin a new chapter in our love story—our journey toward marriage. 🖤
Married - 2026
Believe us, it was not because we met that we were destined to be together—it was because we were destined for one another that Allah brought us together.
By the will of Allah, we have decided to solemnize our marriage on November 15, 2026. As Sayyidina Ali ibn Abi Talib once said, “What is meant for you will always find its way to you.”
With every step that has led us to this day, there have been endless prayers, unwavering hope, and a love that has only grown stronger. May our journey always remain under Allah’s protection, be filled with His blessings, and end in a lifetime of happiness together. 🩶
