We Found Love
وَمِنْ اٰيٰتِهٖٓ اَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مِّنْ اَنْفُسِكُمْ اَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوْٓا اِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ مَّوَدَّةً وَّرَحْمَةًۗ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَّتَفَكَّرُوْنَ ٢١
“And one of His signs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves so that you may find comfort in them. And He has placed between you compassion and mercy. Surely in this are signs for people who reflect.”

Love Story
We first met and got to know each other on campus. At that time, Amel was a new student, while Randy was a senior who served as a committee member for the orientation program. It was during that moment that Randy approached Amel and introduced himself.
After our first meeting and introduction in 2016, and after being in a relationship for more than eight years, we finally decided to take our commitment to a more serious level. Randy came with his extended family to formally propose to Amel. The proposal was warmly accepted by Amel’s family, and we then set the date for our wedding.
Bismillah, in June 2026, we will begin a new chapter of our story with a new status as husband and wife. May Allah grant us a smooth journey and bless us with a family that is Sakinah, Mawaddah, and Warahmah.
